Services Available
Services Louisville Metro CAP provides include:

• Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) – Provides services to address poverty based on community need
• Dare to Care – Provides emergency food assistance and commodities
• Employment – Short-term job training and career management services with self-sufficiency case management available as needed
• Energy Assistance – Subsidy/Crisis Programs help maintain family stability 
• Financial Empowerment Program – Provides financial literacy and empowerment to the community
• Foster Grandparent Program – Volunteer program for seniors to provide assistance to children and youth
• Home Repair – Provides emergency home repair services to eligible community members
• Microenterprise – Provides technical assistance, information and referral, business training, and forgivable loans to eligible microenterprises in Jefferson County 
• Neighborhood Place – Emergency financial assistance and case management
• Office Work Experience Program (OWEP) – Provides eligible individuals transitioning off of K-TAP the opportunity to gain work skills and experience through volunteering
• Public Service – Provides information, referral services, and workshops in the community
• Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) – Matches volunteers ages 55 and over with a wide variety of volunteer opportunities 
• Self-Help Weatherization Training and Kits – Includes items such as CFL light bulbs, window plastic and caulk
• Self-Sufficiency Case Management – Three-to-six month wraparound services including health, housing, utility, childcare, and transportation assistance as well as financial empowerment opportunities
• Senior Nutrition Program – Includes Meals on Wheels and congregate meal sites in the community
• Senior Transportation – Provides transportation services for senior citizens enrolled in a congregate meal site to ensure seniors never go without a meal due to a lack of transportation
• Summer Feeding Program – Provides meals to children during the summer months 
• Telephone Reassurance Program – Calls made to homebound seniors several times a week to help ensure their well-being
• Tuition Assistance – Tuition assistance for low-income students pursuing associate’s degrees in high demand fields with self-sufficiency case management available as needed.
• Weatherization – Winterizes homes to lower energy consumption and heating costs
