Services Middle Kentucky CAP provides include:
• Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) – Provides services to address poverty based on community need
• Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) – Emergency food, clothing and housing services
• Employment Services – Helps participants secure and maintain meaningful employment
• Energy Assistance – Subsidy/Crisis Programs help maintain family stability
• Head Start – Provides comprehensive education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and their families
• Home Care - Provides in-home services to increase the independence of those who are home-bound or at high risk of nursing home placement
• Senior Citizens Nutrition and Social Services – Provides quality nutrition and social interaction for seniors
• Transportation – Provides access to dependable/affordable transportation
• Weatherization – Winterizes homes to lower energy consumption and heating costs
• WinterCare – Assists those in need with their utility bills
• Workforce Investment Act: Adult, Youth, and Dislocated Worker Services – Employment, training, adult education, and vocational rehabilitation programs
