Insurance Program

Community Action Kentucky provides group health insurance services in which 15 of Kentucky’s 23 Community Action Agencies participate. The association staff works with its agent of record to negotiate benefit design and renewal rates with the insurer, Anthem-Blue Cross of Kentucky. The association also has a dental program with Delta Dental of Kentucky in which several agencies also participate. The program is important as it helps hold down benefit costs for the workers of the Community Action network.
